Well, I'm sorry that this happened to you. Don't let it discourage you. If there are typos...get them fixed and keep going. Use his criticism to your advantage but don't let his judgement defeat you.

I have a book as well and I when I tell some of my friends they get a blank look in their eyes and don't even ask me what the title is. Fortunately I have friends who actually acted interested and read it! Love those friends. Not sure about the others!
