My children are adopted . I write about it a lot. My youngest really wants to know about his bio mother and i plan to tell him when he is 18. He has brothers out there. I think that I've found one but I am not for sure. My oldest could care less.

Recently, my husband and his brother got together and told a cousin that she is adopted. She didn't know. She was having health problems and didn't understand why her mother wouldn't do genetic testing. Her mother wouldn't tell her even though the cousin is 35. The cousin found her mother within weeks and now her father too. It is working out for her but it doesn't always.

And adoptive mom? she hates us now!
