I am a certified media specialist with a Masters Degree. I was paid very well when I worked in the school system. However, when I wanted to work part time the pay was very low. I worked for the public library and the college library. Because of my retirement restrictions, I couldn't work full time for a state based entity. There is a private college library near me but the pay is low there as well. I am located in Middle Georgia. The Atlanta libraries pay much better.
