Good luck in your new endeavors. My husband and I have had some hard time financially. He just can't manage money. I'm not great but better than him. We have separate and joint accounts. Our check goes into our private account and then we move the money to our joint. I'm not sure how much he has in his. I don't ask. A man needs to have some money on his own. I have my own savings account. It's mine with money I earned from side jobs. He doesn't choose to do a side job. It took over 20 years to work this out.

By the way, you forgot "hen pecked." That's what my father called my husband.
