Good article. I've stopped submitting to one pub because they nit pick my grammar and correct Grammarly. I've stopped submitting to another because I don't like the message that they leave at the bottom of my article. I don't understand it but it seems creepy. One publication that I used to do well with stopped publishing me. They said that they are having issues with seeing submissions yet I see lots of people being published by them. The last issue that I experienced was a note explaining that they had changed their guidelines and now I have to promote a writer from their list.

I don't want to be forced to promote a writer that I don't know.

Another editor told me that I wasn't funny. He was right but that's beside the point.

I have my own pub that I use when I get frustrated with all of these issues.
