Family Rifts Are Bad Enough Without Outside Interference

Look at how the media messes with Harry, Meghan, and William and Catherine

Last weekend was the Queen’s Jubilee celebration to acknowledge her 70 years on the throne. Britain's were out celebrating, and many Americans were watching the festivities as well. Americans are fascinated with the Royal family, maybe because we don’t have one.

It’s OK that we don’t; it’s interesting to see another way of life. However, I have found the rift between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the Royals interesting. I can’t help but think that the media is making the rift worse than it has to be.

Every day, Newsbreak drops news stories about the rift in my feed. Yes, I do realize it’s because I read them. The stories are like a train wreck that I can’t look away from.

Most of the stories are simply speculation. The headlines sound like this:

“Prince Harry looked pensive.”

“Prince Harry and Meghan snubbed Catherine.”

“Prince Harry and Prince William didn’t speak.”

Is it any of our business?
